Hollywood Rhythm Kings had a delightful Valentine’s 2015 playing an outdoor corporate event in a beautiful courtyard. Fancy cupcakes were available for all to have a major sugar intake to go along with the romantic jazz classics. Guest vocalist Michael Morano has a true rat pack flair and way with guest. Guest pianist George G. Woo dazzled with great artistry and technique.

It was a glamorous night performing for the International Australian Universities Conference aboard the USS Midway. Now a museum, this grand vessel was for a time the largest ship in the world. We played 40’s swing to match the theme of the event. Pianist Bill Keis guested with us. Kerry provided drum rolls during the raffle portion of the event. We played favorites like Tuxedo Junction, Perdido and Chattanooga Choo Choo.

Hollywood Rhythm Kings proudly played at the Burbank Public Library in a National Endowment For The Arts program produced by Skakespeare At Play. Hollywood Rhythm Kings were honored to celebrate a life by performing at a memorial service for a jazz fan. His family wanted a joyful feeling for the reception after his memorial. We were touched and impressed with the joyful feeling jazz can bring. Christian Boyd subbed on piano on this gig.
A joyful union brought Hollywood Rhythm Kings to San Diego to entertain at a lovely wedding reception. The clamshell stage in the ballroom was a neat touch of style for us to play in. Christian Boyd subbed on piano.
Hollywood Arts Council presented Spirit Of Old Hollywood 2013 on Sept 20th. It was a glamorous ghost tour in the historic Hollywood Athletic club on Sunset Blvd. Anita Rosenberg created this snazzy vid of event highlights set to the sounds of Hollywood Rhythm Kings.
Hollywood Rhythm Kings travelled to Las Vegas to play at the M Resort And Casino, entertaining at the opening party for a corporate convention. Attendees travelled from all over the world and enjoyed an amazing view from the top floor as they settled into their event.
